My background in care
My name is Kara, I have over 20 years experience working in care mainly over 65 years old. I have worked in mental health, residential domiciliary, acute hospital and a community hospital setting. I have a clear DBS, clinical care certificate, LAO 2 certificate in the principles of Dementia care, NVQ 2 care certificate, NVQ 3 in health and social care and also understanding dementia care course. I am up to date with all my mandatory training.
I am also undertaking a certificate in the principles of end of life care for my own personal development.
I am extremely passionate about my work and believe l always deliver the best care possible in a personal centered way. I am reliable, trustworthy and discreet.
DBS check up to date and public liability insurance in place. I have copies off Terms of service, safeguarding and complaints procedure. My references are available on request.
I am willing to come to you at home so we can talk about the care you want and draw up an action plan and contract.
